Wanting to start doing shows, but have no idea where to start...
 

I have been wanting to do some shows with my 6 yo QH mare. But I have no idea where I would ever start! What kind of shows are good for show/competition virgins? lol. I was thinking western pleasure or some kind of a stock show? I ride western btw. I consider myself intermediate/advanced. But I mostly just lope my horses around my property for fun. :D My QH Luna is very, very fast, and doesn't really have any bad habits except wanting to go fast all the time XD

No problem! I think only mods can delete threads, just wanted to let you know before you got a backlash or anything :-) When it could fit in multiple sub-forums I generally just choose the one that seems the best fit or where the expertise will be hanging - so for your question I'd probably go to the "Western Pleasure" forum.
