Anyone used a seat reducer?
I've been saddle shopping lately for a western show saddle and I found one I like, it's the right size bars and the rigging is in the right place. The problem is it's a size 16 seat and I need a 15. I saw this product online and wondered if anyone has ever used one, something similar, or knows of anyone that has.

The saddle I'm looking at is a dark oil, so I imagine this wouldn't be too obvious in the show ring if I had one... right?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Yes, I have. I'm not sure 1" larger size makes that much difference in a western saddle, since one would tend to settle in the deep part of the seat. But I have used a seat reducer on a flat seat saddle, where in my experience 1" too large makes a big difference. Anyways, it did help.
I think that the seat shrinker will work to drop it one size but not sure if it will go a whole inch. my friend had a 161/2 size Crates, and the seat shrinker (this one was a Cashel product) helped significantly.
