Boots too short, coat too short - I'm too tall
So, out in the rain today and walking in my drover coat with rubber boots through the bush. Hrmph... there is a space of about 4" between the bottom of the coat and the top of my boots. Which means I got absolutely soaked!
Yes, I'm tallish - 5'9". Where can I get rubber boots for walking that are taller than the regular Crappy Tire, Wal-mart height without spending $150?
How tall do you need? I just got those bog boots and they are awesome. For winter or colder weather though. The highest they make is 15 inches. Oh and I paid $63 on eBay for them brand new.

I think 15" would be about right. 16" might be too tall and rub. Bog boots? Never heard of them. I will check it out. Thanks.

Those are the tall ones that are good to -40f but they have the handles. There's other ones on their site that are colors that are 15 in without handles but they are only good to subzero temps.
I found a local store that carries them so I can go try some on before buying online. Definitely not cheap up here -- $100+ at the store!
Yes they were $109 at Gander here so I tried them on so I knew what size I needed then ordered them on Ebay :)
