Favorite shampoo and conditioner? Hi everybody, Just wondering what your favorite shampoo and conditioner for your horses are? I have a mare with a huge mane and it is always getting dirty and tangled. Looking for something to help with that! |
Suave. If it's good enough for me, it's good enough for my horses! |
Whatever is the cheapest at the feedstore, never seen any difference in the horse's coat either. I won some more pricier Rio Vista, worked the same. Posted via Mobile Device |
I go to a beauty supply store and buy the gallon sized shampoos and conditioners. I usually look for sales and get the ones that are under $5/gal. They smell nice too! |
I second the Suave shampoo and conditioner. It's cheap, does the job, and plus you can make your horse smell like green apples or coconut! My grocery store usually has a buy any two for $5, so I can get shampoo and conditioner together. |
I use whatever is cheapest per ounce at the $1 store. They even carry something that's labeled "Horse Shampoo" but I've only bought that one time. I get all my own hygiene supplies there too, so we usually share. |
Buy any two for $5.00?! That's expensive! I get the family sized Suave shampoos and conditioners for $1.50 each at Wally World. |
I'm gonna be the odd person out here. I like Eqyss Micro Tek shampoo & conditioner for the first bath of the year or if I have a rain rot problem. After that I like Healing Tree Products, Private Reserve Tea Tree Shampoo and if I can't find that then I like Vetrolin Bath shampoo. I go to Sally's Beauty Supply and get a gallon of Kolestral conditioner for their "hot oil" treatments. |
I get whatever is cheapest! I love quicksilver though for mares with white tails. |
I love Man O' War shampoo for shine and Mane n' Tail for softess. |
