Desperate need for a boarding facility.

Hi all, I am looking for a place near Lilburn, Snellville, Loganville areas. I go to Loganville High School and I need somewhere really nice and kind of cheap for my paint stallion. He is 10 years old and he's just a big love bug. The place I am now, is just too expensive. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere that I can work off board or hold riding lessons with good lesson horses and then pay for board that way. I need somewhere with trails and an arena. I really need someone to work with my finacial situation because for a couple months, I am trying to gain money. After these 2 months, I'll have plenty to pay right on time no questions asked. If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them! Thanks so very much!

"cheap" and "stallion" are not two words that often go together in a boarding situation. The simple fact is that containing a stallion comes with special consideriations, requirements, etc and many facilities won't even take studs.

That's what I was thinking- I don't even know where I'd be able to board a stallion in my area, even if price weren't an issue!

Well there's places that do take stallions. I'm getting him gelded next month, so it won't be an issue for too long.

No one said there weren't places that take stallions - only that they are harder to find and generally more expensive - though I have to wonder, if you are aware of places that will take a stallion why are you here asking for places?

Because I am looking for more options. Posted via Mobile Device

Then you are not THAT desperate. You could move up the gelding, rather than waiting a month......just a thought.

There's a place on Kelly Glen Ct in Dacula, Ga. My husband trained there years ago. They used to board and definitely can take stallions. Don't know who owns it now or what they're doing. Good Luck.

It is very kind of you to offer that information, but unfortunately the OP of this thread has been banned, so I do not think she will be able to view the information.
