Critique me and my paint
here are a pic of me and my horse practicing and i just want some feedback on what you though. this was a day or so after our first lesson.
he is a thirteen year old paint who was just a trail horse before we started training so maybe look a little at his form. just click on the picture and it will bring you to a video
It's hard to tell due to the quality etc, but my first impression is that your stirrups look too short, and that your legs might be a little far back as a result.
He's a nice looking horse and with some work I think he'll make a nice all rounder.
I think the strrups are a tiny bit too short. YOu look very comfortable and happy on the hrose. If you can get more weigh down into your heel, through the stirrup, you will find posting easier.
That round pen is pretty small for a trot. Is he safe to ride outsid of the round pen? or is this just your 2nd time on a horse, any horse?
this is a video you just need to click on it and it will bring you to the page.
i was riding him in there bc my trainer at the time told me to be lunging him so i just rode him there
does anyone else have any thoughts
