Tips For My Tail Braids?

This is my second attempt, and it's hard to get it started since there's sort of a bald spot of normal hair in the middle of the top part, if that makes sense :p I think I should probably take smaller pieces and try to make it tighter. Also, I'm a guy, so braiding isn't too natural to me! Thanks a bunch!

I'd say that is a pretty good job!

I start with dampened hair and keep a bottle of gel handy.

The dampened hair keeps the separations easier and the gel keeps it all in place once the hair dries, plus keeps those little hairs that fly out, in place.

Finish with a spritz of hairspray. if you can find a lustre one, that's a bonus for it gives the hair a lustre/shine to it.

Thanks for the advice! I'm not sure if I could do that though, since it is only left in for like 30 minutes then we take it out, but if I ever do it for a show I will have to try it!

Try smaller sections on the tail when u braid and turn your plait before u add hair it looks like u did on the left but not the right. Overall it looks good!
