Is my cinch too long?

Hello just wondering if this cinch is too long for my mare, she measures 14'2 hh and i put a 32'' cinch. Would love to know if it's too long and if i should downsize to a 30'' instead.

Im confused because i real a lot that you measure the horse heart girth which is what i did and gave me 33.5 so 34..so that is not accurate because a 34 would be too big. At first i had a 30'' on her then thought it was a bit too small so i upgraded to a 32'' and then my coach said my cinch was a tad too long and should go with a 30''. I'm so confused HELP PLEASE!!

Here's a picture of my mare with a 32'' cinch

THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME USING IT SO IT KINDA STRETCHED OUT A LITTLE BIT and i am also aware that my saddle is sitting to far forward...

Is it about the same place on the other side?

Looks good to me! Love the hand prints!

Would love to know where it is on the other side. Looks fine on this side.

If the rings line up straight underneath and the cinch is even on both sides, your good! You don't want the cinch rings wayyyy down on the elbow.

From the looks of it to me, where the breast collar attaches to the cinch under the horse, it is either even or more to this side, so I say its not too long. IMO, :-)

For those who asked if it was equal on the other side here are two other pictures :) Im pretty sure it's equal, i always check if the d-ring is aligned in the middle

And don't forget that like i said, it stretched out since i used it so now it comes a bit higher than that, wish i had a recent picture to show it but i don't..

I think its fine I would come up a hole on the right side I always like my cinch to be a little higher on that side and then I have more play to cinch with. That's just me!

If i do that, the d-rings will not be centered anymore

It seems fine. I allways want the d rings to be centered, and not too much latigo on either side.
