Dry skin around the anus?
 

My horse has had dry, flakey skin around his anus for awhile. I don't know what I should do about it. I was thinking maybe baby lotion... what do you all think?

That is common.

No oil because the dry skin comes back and there will be a gunky build-up.

Just take a wet paper towel and wipe him clean once a week.

Either plain water or Vetericyn. I use Vetericyn most of the time because it is medicated and I feel like I'm being more "medically clean" if I use it - lol lol
