Foot position
4 Attachment(s)
Okay, well ive noticed for quite a while that there is obviously something wrong with my foot position when jumping.
Coming up to the jump and going over the jump, my toes tend to point outwards ALOT! no matter what height the jump is, and no matter what horse i may be riding.

any ideas to fix it
(added photos to give you an idea)

it looks like your toes are pointing out because you are gripping with your calves too much, because your stirrups are too long. try shortening them a hole or two !

over all you look really good though =]

i wouldn't worry too much about toeing out. Like Gypsy said above, I would put your stirrups up just a tad. Also try to make a conscious effort to sink your heels down. This will help to keep your foot forward. Also keep in mind that some folks, myself included, toe out just a wee bit naturally because of your own body conformation.
