Bobo (Lintons Hangin Judge)
I would love to get some opinions on Bobo. AQHA reg as Lintons Hangin Judge - his pedigree is in my signature. I've had him for about 3 months. He was in decent shape when I got him but needed about 50lb and some muscle. I've been working him for 5 days per week, usually, and changed up his diet. He's coming along nicely. (In fact he may have gained a little too much weight but I'll work that off him.)

He does look a bit on the chunkier side, but very nice! :D I think with more work he'll gain more muscles. His neck is thick & he appears to be slighly downhill (or, the ground wasn't completely even).

The last two pics have him on a downward slope to the ground. I agree about him being a little chunky and having a thick neck. Things to work on. I over did it with trying to fatten him up a little - he's a very easy keeper even with the work. I got him with the intention of working him on cattle. He was trained as a cutter and turn back horse but he is 11 now so he'll be used mostly for sorting, penning and trails.

No one?? People, he is not a great horse conformation wise. I'd like to know if you see what I see. I got him for a particular job and overlooked his faults due to his performance. He is far from a halter horse!

He's built like my former barrel horse and looks well suited for sharp turns and quick changes of direction. :D

do you think you could get pictures of him not on grass and squared up? Those pictures are thrown off by his head being down, body turned at an angle, etc., making for a hard critique

Can't give him any kind of real critique from those pictures. There's a really good post sticky about how to take the pictures.

Set him up, get pics from the side, back and front.

Wow, I forgot how hard it is to set up a horse who only wants to follow you. Lets try these:
If not, I'll get some help tomorrow - I'm on a mission now!)
