Care to take a look at this saddle fit?

I would love it if somebody could take a look at these photos and give me an opinion on the fit of this saddle. There is no bridging when I run my hand underneath the panels, the gullet can be adjusted if necessary. I am mostly concerned about tree and panel shape. I am head over heels in love with it, so need some objective opinions before I purchase it!

it seems like the gullet may be wide enough for your horse but that's slightly difficult to tell without feeling where the muscle starts on either side of the spine. the saddle may need to be pushed slightly farther back to keep off your horse's shoulders which, from what i can tell in the first picture, may balance the saddle better on your horse's back so that YOU will be sitting in the center of the saddle. the panels on those wintecs tend to be very flat/straight so if your horse's back is of the same shape then you may be in luck.

i am not a saddle fitting expert so please take this with a grain of salt. :)

I am no expert either. (who is?)
I don't like the shape of the gussetted rear panel. It does not seem to follow the back so well. However, I have seen that same issure with a lot of saddles. Is this the air filled one?

Tinyliny, yes it is cair. I'm getting very mixed opinions about it's fit at the moment.

Looks pretty good. Just be sure it's not up against the edge of his shoulder blades.

Ok, so the woman I was going to purchase the saddle off has decided she wants to keep it, so we can rule that one out anyway.

Looking at this one for him now. No good for us to compete in when the time comes as it is an all purpose, but that is still at least a couple of years off, so that's fine...

Width looks fine. Is your horse slightly croup high? If so I'd just check how much pressure there is right at the rear, particularly if the panel sinks into the horse when the saddle is sat on (this might sound daft but it does happen). I've occasionally come across problems where that can cause the panel seam to rub the horse's back.

Hope it fits okay :)

He is a bit bum high at the moment as he is still growing. I expect he will be level, if not slightly uphill at maturity.
