Kinda sorta, since they are made with gunpowder! :-P

Okay, so I have half bomb proof horses. Oh well, it's a start!

Now if only I could get them "plastic bag of death" proof, bahahahahaha.

Speed Racer 12-06-2012 11:11 AM

The plastic bags of death are something else entirely. Even my normally laid back, spooks-in-place TB thinks they're out to eat his soul!

I was thinking of showing how bombproof my mare is by firing my 44 magnum while riding, but the Mexican border is only 60 miles away and I don't know if she would stop in time. Guess we ought to do more work first.

OTOH, it would only take once, and then she would be deaf, or at least confused by the ringing in her ears...

My boy is fine with small cannons, fireworks, guns being shot of him and beside him (BIG GUNS).... But he loses his mind if he sees a kite. Totally comes unglued. Silly pony.

My granddaughter and son used to have a cannon proof Clydesdale. She was in the St Patricks Day Parade and they were placed right in front of a cannon. Even as they were firing the cannon, she never so much as flinched.

I used to ride a horse, a QH mix gelding who was okay with A LOT of things... but one day we rode past a kids tricycle that was parked on the lawn and the poor guy about had a heart attack.

Or my mare who is a near perfect traffic safe trail horse... she'll lose her whits if someone put a trash bag out on the curb for pickup  Ah, the silly things our horses find to be scared of :-P
