Cargos new harness came! He looks so cute in it! It's also much better quality than the last one and it was cheaper. It also came with a mini size bit instead of a horse size like the last one >.> (pulled him straight from the pasture and it was raining so ya..) He was being a total butt today so only a couple pics.

(I know the girth is lop sided he was being figety and I was having trouble adjusting it)

I've got to ask, where are the tugs? I don't see a collar or a breast strap. Without one or the other there is no way for the pony to pull a cart.

Was pony just to figgity to get it on him?

Just wondering.

He does look good in blue!

Photo of the harness on the fence shows the breast collar, I 'm sure tugs
are there too.

you don't really ground drive with a breast collar and traces on.

I thought I saw them on the wall, but wasn't sure. Figured the picture was to show off the new gear, so I would have put everything on. Ofcourse, if you don't wrap up the tugs they would drag in the mud.

I didn't put the breast plate on cause we weren't going to be pulling anything. I know he can't pull without it lol

and thanks =)

breast collar full collar

hiya i long line rein with a collar i wind up the traces and i put the breeching through the crew hole so when the horse works he feels his collar and his breeching and desenceatises him to them.
and settles them down .

He's used to the breast plate and breeching. He's actually pulled a couple(small) things and is ok with it. The reason he was being fidgety is because 1. He's 2 2. He's not being worked muched lately(cold and wet winter) 3. He wanted to go eat
