Skinny Horse.

I was told my serval on here my horse is "skinny" but she does run allot an it a pretty decent sized horse.. Does she look "skinny" to anyone?..The horse i'm talking about is the chestnut colored one..

Yes, the chestnut looks very skinny and needs more weight, specially for winter.

Yes, the horse needs more food. Especially with winter coming up!

Hard to tell with the black, but the sorrel is thin, both look unthrifty.

I agree she's thin, neither of them have much to spare really. Judging by the pics. They seem to have very lil muscle too. What are you feeding daily and how?

I agree, the sorrel is thin. Ideally, you shouldn't be able to see the ribs at all. She doesn't yet look like she's starving, but she definitely needs either more food or something higher in fat than what she's getting.

Bucket of grain with alfalfa cubes mixed in once a day an a half a square bale.

With the drought an i've been working with little time off i'm hoping after Christmas i'll be able to get them both back on track an back up to par.
