Sometimes they are so odd...

What incredibly strange thing does your child do? I swear my kid has the oddest moments and preferences, I try and laugh, I try and just LOOK AWAY!!

Here are a few I can recall ATM, I'll add more as I think of them!

So for years DD refused to wear underwear. I mean would scream !!!WEDGIE!!! at the top of her lungs and flop around for hours. I punished all the ways I could think of, but finally gave up. I can't tell you how embarrassing it is to have to send a kid commando to school. There were a few incidences where they realized, I fessed up, told them my predicament, good times!

This morning I cuddled up to the girl, I was sooo tired and snuggled into her blankets, EWWWW!!! She refuses to let me wash her "Night Night" (blankie). It smells soooo bad, and she likes to sniff it!!! When she was a baby that blanket was the only one out of the 50 I had that would keep her from screaming her head off... When is she going to give it up??? (Going in the wash today regardless of the ramifications )

She also has an aversion to "silky" sheets. No cotton, no high dollar Egyptian, nothing smooth! HAS to be micro fleece, even in the summer, and on a bad day she might tolerate flannel, but only till I can catch up with the wash!

For years and years she would only wear leggings and tu tu's, anything else gave her !!!WEDGIES!!!. This year it's all about the cowgirl look, I smile, love it, FINALLY!

Puffy coats. Try and find a coat that is warm, and isn't puffy. This year I spent WEEKS scouring the internet for a sherpa. Thankfully, right before I hit "purchase" on the real deal, I found a decent one at sears! And, it's purple, win win!

Got an "odd ball"?

There's not enough space online for me to describe my two wackos, LOL. Let's just say there are no words.

It's not uncommon, for either one to wander around the house wearing anything and everything they can find.

Little Man MUST wear socks at all times. J, won't wear matching socks at all.

Swear mine is a little alien! I mean how could I have given birth to something so weird! Will come up with some when I'm more awake.

When I was a child I refused to wear my socks the right way out, they HAD to be inside out.

But I guess I'm still weird, because I haven't changed.

-Don't have kids of my own, though.-

Oh where do I begin?
Let's see, for years my son refused not to wear socks. He hated going barefoot... to much info coming through those super sensitive tootsies...

Hated play-doh or anything sticky or gooey. Just the canister of the stuff was enough to cause a major melt down.
He's ok with it now, but a fan that's for sure.

Along more of the texture issues- he has a very high gag reflex. Um, very high! Oh yeah, that one is a blast. *rolls eyes*

His favorite little stuffed toy rocket has to have his own spot in the living room in a place with an unobstructed view of the TV. Should this compromised in any way (such as being bumped or knocked down) it must be fixed ASAP. I mean the world will come to an end if rocket can't watch TV too.
But I will say in his defense, he was a preemie and when you come out half baked, it effects how the nervous system finishes baking, so at least my alien has a little bit of an excuse. :D

lol, my oldest will not eat cereal if you put milk on it. It must be dry! When she was little she spent the night with a friend so we could go out. Roughly 6am, I get a phone call. I can hear my child wailing in the backround. My friend says, "I don't know what happened! I gave her a bowl of cereal & she started crying!" Me: "Wait, cereal? Did you put milk on it?" Friend: "of course I did!" ME: *laughing* "take away the cereal & give her a new bowl with NO MILK!" pause.... crying stops... I had to warn anybody she stayed with for years, cereal, milk on the side
