Does anyone know how long it's takes for a colt to shed out
I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it takes for a colt(10 months old) to shed out his first winter coat... He has agood bit of manure on his legs and under belly from when I got him. But we have been brushing him alot and I firgure the only way of getting that out is to bath him ( which to cold for that ) or for him to shed out. My two an half year walking horse still has his winter coat but isn't as thick as lakota's just wondering if anyone knew thanks and have a Happy Easter....

he is a paint. started out a red roan but i don't know what he is going to be because the red around his eyes and chest is turned blue but the color on his sides, butt and tail is red. oh he aslo has red on his ear and forelock. and the rest of his mane is white and he has blue highlights in the front of his forelock and his tail .. he is my beautiful boy
