This is horrifying

wow those people are idiots! That poor horse.

ButtInTheDirt 01-01-2013 11:30 PM

That was a shame. That horse had no training, no confidence, and no leadership. Part of me hopes that those people get hurt for being so stupid. It could have been much worse, for horse and human. Some people are much harder on horses to get them into harness, but just because they didn't beat their horse into submission [at least not on camera] doesn't mean this method of training is in any way just or even effective for that matter.

Words can not even express how I feel about people like that. Plus it isn't even the horse's fault; if that horse was actually TRAINED it wouldn't behave that way.

Saw that video a year or so ago. Always figured the horse probably got worse treatment after pulling to the "riders" off and dragging them under the wagon...

"You know what would be a great idea? Putting a little girl on a horse bareback in front of these horse who is freaking out because we're idiots and don't know how to train."

What is wrong with people?

FRIST the carriage had no brakes and they had no birching on the horse to keep carriage off SECOND no training what so ever _ I have see this around here and the woman lost her teeth and Brock her leg to show how stupid she was

Cherie 01-02-2013 09:56 AM

I saw it a year or two ago, too. Just shows that you can't fix STUPID. Brings stupid to a new level.

Speed Racer 01-02-2013 10:55 AM

It's stupidity all right, but I don't see any real abuse.

What I saw was an untrained horse being handled by people who had no clue how to train it.
