My mare has a saggy belly and I'm trying to tone it up. The rest of her is toning up nicely but her belly is taking a bit longer. We were trotting hills but now the footing is bad and I can't ride her so I need ground exercises. Running with her would get me in shape but I really don't wanna run with her up and down hills lol Also she hates being lunged for too long. She gets bored and turns into a brat. Shes all Arab lol smart, gets bored easily, impatient, has to be her idea, lol shes quite the character...

I was thinking an obstacle course of some kind? Trotting poles? Idk but Im eager to get some suggestions.

The only thing that will really tone up her underline is working her underline; getting her to lift her back and use her abs, getting her hind end under her when she moves, and getting her collected and round.

She is extremely green and doesn't collect well at all. How can I get her to collect more? What type exercises should I do with her?

You will need to work her from back to front, focusing on sending her forward and stepping underneath herself. The goal is to get impulsion and feel her back lift.

I can't ride her right now so it has to be ground work...
