I just saw them :) so cute :) how long have you had her?

countrylove 01-10-2013 01:12 AM

I have been working with her since august but she officially became mine in the middle of October. She was deemed dangerous but is far from it. You can put kids on her (on a lead line), she's never bit, kicked, bucked, nothing, not a mean bone in her body. She was also abused. But I just treat her like a normal horse with normal expectations and she always exceeds them with the best behavior possible. She is a dream horse to train and work with. I adopted her from the rescue I work for. When I got her she didn't have any training and the attempts at training made some things a challenge.

I have two horses, one is mine, Indy, the other is my husband's, Scotty. Before I purchased Scotty, he was a breeding stallion and I rode & showed him for his owner. I had a mare at the time that was bred to him and she threw a loud colored filly, I traded her for another of Scotty's babies at the breeding farm, a solid colored colt, Indy. After Scotty's owner got out of the breeding business, she gelded Scotty & I bought him. Scotty isn't the easiest horse to ride, he's on the hot side & my husband chose him to ride, although Indy is pretty much push button, he's my horse show, we do English & Western open shows. Scotty is mostly used for trail rides & lessons with hubby. Picture of the boys & us.
