Bath day? I think not!

Today was the warmest day we've had in ages (in the middle of winter, you know). The high ended up being somewhere is the 70s (F), so I decided it was high time to give my horses their first bath of the year.

Here they are all nice and clean!

And I wish I could say that this is a "before bath picture", but sadly it is not. Ginger and Duncan both rolled in the grass, but Mellow went out of his way to find the biggest, wettest, dirtiest mud puddle he could. Sigh.

HA!, thats adorable, my horse is too weird to do that, when we wash her, she goes onto the paddock hill under her shelter, and because we made a wooden floor for her, she will lie down there, and she will still look clean after wards, she only rolls when its dry. i love that big ball of annoyince.

I just have to laugh thinking about it being warm enough there for a bath. It's -11*F here right now. Yesterday the wind was blowing some much snow around it was almost like a blizzard and my boss sent me home early.
Enjoy the warmness a bit more for me will ya? (BTW, we're getting HOT here in the summer if it gets to 90*F). 70* is a very nice temp! I'm afraid I won't see that until May or June though.

Why is it the light ones do that?? I still swear they are trying to camouflage themselves or something! I have one that does that too!!!
And it got to 30 today, yikes! What I would do for 70, lol.

Haha, my horse did the same exact thing! He found this black sand stuff tho, sticks like crazy, but luckily, once dry it just wipes off. They looked nice all clean though!!
