whats your opinion?
I was given this horse because he is crazy.... Well i have had him sence spring and i have never had a problem with him, I ride him everywhere, and everyone rides him. Bareback, saddle, trails, roads. I even use him as a lesson horse. But anyways I know he is a morgan but i have had people say he looks like the foundation Justin Morgans and his name was justin when i was given him.. i renamed him captain morgan :-) but then i get he looks like a lippett too. Just wondering if anyone can look at him and see. He is only 14 hands and just pure muscle. No fat.

Can't comment on breed, as I don't personally know Morgans, being in Oz. But he's a very good looking boy... for a chestnut<TIC>. Very strong, powerful type.

Sounds like he's also lucky to have found you. You can see how 'crazy' you obviously make him...not! Perhaps he was 'crazy' with pain or fear with his previous owner?

he doesn't look like a Justin Morgan to me....normally they will have a longer, thinner face

Yeah she said she just could not handle him... and now hes the everyone rides him horse. and he is soo sweet! oh he may everyonce in a while when you ask him to go somewhere turn his head the other way like no.....but then make him to a quick circle and he is like.... oh ok... i was like yeah... real crazy. But a lot of the times it is the owners. She was petrified of horses... i am not so im sure he can sense that and know he cant get away with much. :-)

yeah I've rode horses like that.
It definately would be the rider....horses survived because they can pick up emotions from anything around them, so if they sense the rider is frightened, they'll be frightened...thinking something out there is going to eat them

i think he's definitely more foundation looking than refined/saddlebred looking. Handsome fellow!

He's gorgeous. I really like him. I used to always ride out on trails, my old trainer's retired pony. He was a morgan cross and looked a lot like your guy. I would agree there might be something more than just morgan but having said that there a lot of purebreds out there that look nothing like what they are supposed to be. It's hard to say but it doesn't matter, he's a gorgeous boy :D

thank you so much... he is pretty... and he was free... so sweet :-)

Justin Morgan?

Wow, he is CUTE!! Not all the morgans have a thinner face that are bred from Foundation bloodlines. They always seemed like they had really small, typy heads with a clean cut profile. I would DEFINIATLY steal him! I have a thing for Morgans. I rode my mom's old show Morgan when I was six and seven and my sister has a new type Morgan gelding now.

LOL, the lady i got him from said he was crazy... :-) and he has been absolutely perfect. Im sad though that i have to sell him, as i just moved and need to sell something to pay for things i need to rebuild.. :-( and it was him, my mare that i have had for years, and my 3 yr old. HIm and the three year old are up for sale cause i could never sell my mare :-) i love her way to much. So hopefully i will win the lottery or something and be able to keep them all !
