These are just photos snapped of me as I did Games On Horseback last year for festival. They aren't the greatest angle, and aren't many, but I will be getting more this coming friday.

These pictures were taken in june/july, and I think I have really improved since then. This was also my first game "competition" against my instructor... Who blew me out of the water.

No critique from me, but I had to say I absolutely love the look of absolute joy on your face!

I worked very very hard to get into those games! Took me three years just to become good enough! When I was told that I was doing games, you can bet I was ecstatic.

No Critique - I've never seen anything like this. So neat!

I like to stand in the saddle, flex heels down, bend the knees and then sit. Your knees appear locked and not helping keep with the horses motion. Your feet should be under your center of gravity so you can stand in the saddle if you need to. try it and see if that helps. Also use your thighs to grip lightly and your calves to let the horse know how fast and which direction to move. Nearly all signals are the horse moving away from prssure. You just have to figue out where and how much pressure to use.

Thank you! I will give that a try!

You look so happy.

What nice pictures! And what fun!

The only thing I noticed is that you are madly bracing against those stirrups! Relax your legs :) Those mickeymouse ears on the Aussie saddle will keep you from flying forward.. and your seat will keep you in the saddle!

Thank you! Relaxing is my biggest problem.

I will try to fix that, and get better pictures, haha.
