Jumps well, i'd really like to jump my horse but i don't have any jumps ! and, buying them is not really an option as they are so expensive i have poles ( ones i made) but it's the wings that are the problem, i would prefer not to make some but to use just things that lie around in a typical back yard!!! please give me any suggestion! thanks! p.s- i've tried buckets but they fall over and i want something free!! Thanks! |
Hi, Bins, barrels, crates, cones, lumps of wood/stumps, I use to use all things like this. You can make a pretty good course with them. |
Bamboo poles...you may know someone who has an overgrown area where you could help clean up. I did that and know have loads of it for poles and have even made fillers as well. |
ooo I have that same problem ALL the time. Random Materials Buckets Milk Crates Lawnchairs Barrels Tarps PVC pipe umm.... I'm kinda out of it, but thats all I can think of at the moment. I will just randomly pick up something in the yard and use it. |
fallen trees, tires, dig a ditch/bank, bench |
Re: Jumps well i normal put the jumps up against my fence and i use metal starpikets. If find if you put it up against the fence (if you have one!) if makes it much easier and then you dont have to keep putting them up again Karly |
milk crates and tires are the best |
We've used just about everything around the farm. Hay bales, buckets, pieces of wood....basically anything the horse could jump without hurting himself |
