need help naming...

We are trying to adopt out a 6yr old mustang and her current name is Flicka, some people call her Dusty but neither fit and she needs a good catchy and flashy name preferably something Native American. Right now she is just trained as a trail horse and is good at it but could potentially go many other directions. I know if she gets adopted they might change her name but for now she still needs a good name :D

Here are some pics:

What a doll. "Flicka" definitely doesn't seem to suit her (funny, we adopted a mustang many years back and her name was Flicka too).
If you want Native American words/names I would use some of the online translators (such as NLD Online v.2.1 ) - but know that not all of them are accurate -- this way you can use words that you think fit her and look for the translation.

When I got my first horse eons ago, another gal w/her first horse had a mare named Melody. I just loved that, but it never fit any of my mares, unfortunately. Don't have any NA suggestions, sorry.

I like misty and river... maybe misty river? I'll have to run it by the others and see what they think :) keep the suggestions coming though :)

Wow, she is really gorgeous!

suggested name: Rain Dancer.

I love the suggestion of River. For some reason it seems to really suit her.

I am just curious, she is so attractive and looks sweet and "old faithful" like, as well as absolutely beautiful coloring - I am shocked she wasn't snapped up already. How long has she been there?

She came in May 2012 but was adopted out in August or September 2012 after some training. She came back after the holidays because her and her young owner just didn't bond. She is not the lovey dovey type horse, she likes a good professional working relationship. She will get a bit testy and has bucked in the past. She can get moody and is an alpha. I absolutely adore her and wish I could afford a second horse but that isn't possible til march and I'm assuming she'll be gone by then. Hoping actually because she deserves a good working job which she strives on. There is a potential adopter lined up but you never know until the day the actually take them home, they could always back out at the last minute.
