Lucy @ Campdraft From this weekend. I suppose Campdrafting fits in here as well as anywhere . She was really good, our first comp back after her 8 months off. In our first run we got a full course and came equal second. This run we didn't get an outside score but she was pretty good in the yard. Pilot error once we got out, I thought the cow was going to bend, it didn't, left it to late to get up around it's head and it was gone! But Lucy was really good :D Lauren and Lucy - Maiden Draft - Braidwood 2013 - YouTube |

Campdrafting sort of looks like a combination of cattle sorting and working cowhorse...interesting. Do people in Australia commonly ride well-broke horses with curb bits, or are snaffles the norm? |
Have I told you lately how much I love Lucy? Looks like great fun and a pretty good job:D. |
Wow that looks like a lot of fun! Nice work! |
Western riders use curbs, but in the drafting and general station work scene it's generally snaffles. A thanks Jen, me too! She is just going so well! |
