stall door
So in my barn there are 3 large once was birthing stalls. None of them have doors on them due to the fact that they needed to be gutted. The doors and stall fronts are around but my BO doesn't want to put them up because they are so huge heavy and what not.

So I was thinking about putting up something removable and simple due to the fact that I do board and I could just use them for a round pen later.

Do you think that would work? The is really only one stall that I could use at the moment. I need to clean up the other one and the last one has a tractor in it.

If so how would you suggest that I install them for easy removal?

Any input would be great. :)

Would this stall door be used for a stall that you would leave the horse in the stall unattended?

I would not do that, a horse tends to want to roll around in a stall and could get his/her foot caught in the bars when no one is around.

I know they can do that in the pasture, but confined in a stall I think the chances go up exponentially for a problem.

You might use the door/combo if you added some close cell wire mesh like this for example to the bars and door, I would hope the sell smaller rolls Non-Climb Horse Fence, 48 in. x 200 ft. - 3610692 | Tractor Supply Company

Although they could put a leg through it, I wouldn't worry about it. The bars are far enough apart and there's nothing sharp. We use corral panels to split shelters when needed and have never had a problem. Putting wire mesh won't hurt, of course, but watch for sharp/pokey stuff.
