Older barn?

Ok we have this older barn in our pasture it's pretty small and my horse is currently useing it as a run in shed. It's about 50+ years old and is built adjacent to an even older chicken shed. It is in pretty good condition on the inside but some of the boards on the outside are 'loose'. It's insulated(it used to be a shop) and has electricity. And the cables are pretty old and im a bit worried that it could cause a fire:-(. What should I do? I would like to do some renovation work on that barn sometime in summer.

There's likely a breaker somewhere for it - shut it down and there will be no electricity flowing to the barn.

first I would work on the outside and make sure the roof is good ,them start on the inside if you are going to rewire run the new wire first them connect it to the fuse box get an electrician to do this that way it is done right and there will be no risk of a fire ow if you are going to make stall do that before wiring

OK I talked with my dad about it(he's an elecritician) and he says there is no immediate danger but when the weather warms up he's going to try to replace the old wires.:D
