Question about Arabian gene

Purebreed arabians do not have any cream genes at all right? I'm asking because I saw a stud that was cremello. Idk if he was purebred, i also think the ad was a scam. But it just made me wonder

No dilute genes in Arabians at all.

Nope, no cream in pure Arabians. He might be registered as a half Arabian though, even if almost pure.

Can't even be half Arab if he's a cremello. He'd have to receive cream from both parents and that wouldn't be possible with an Arabian parent.

If each of his parents was a registered half arabian, could he not be registered half arabian? Or do you need a full arab parent to be registered half arabian?

I had to look it up because Arabians really aren't my breed. It says they have to have one full, registered Arabian parent to be registered as half-Arabian with the AHA.

Ah, thanks for the clarification.

The AHS (UK arab registry) will register Anglos (those with 50% arab blood) and part breds (minimum of 12.5%).

Ah okay, thank you everyone :)
And yeah I think it was a scam, because I found another ad of a cremello with the same name (El Dorado) but it said it was a thoroughbred.. and it looked like the same horse.

Ohh that's right. I forgot that one parent must be pure for the half registry!
