What would you say shes worth?(long!)
I have three horses currently and need to sell two by the time I go to college in the fall. One I just bought as a project to sell, and the other I think for sure I will sell is Sheila who is a daughter of 4 time World Champion RH Imprinted and her dam is a daughter of Barlnk Cadilac Kid(APHA registered name Little Prints, born 2004)(very sad:() anyways, I would like to know what you think she is worth. You aren't going to hurt my feelings, I know she isn't a prize winning horse worth thousands. I'm going to be fully honest in this post and hope everyone will be too. Sheila was sold to me at an auction when she was 2, because she got hung up in a fence as a baby and got a large scar on her leg, as well as a lump on her back leg that will never fully go down. (Don't worry, vet has seen/acknowledged it and there is no worry there) Since then, she has been my trail horse. She sat for a year as she matured, she had been started very well before I bought her. Sheila loads in a trailer well, and travels well. She goes on trails alone or together, but prefers with other horses. However, she goes out just fine alone. She is alert on the trail, and can be somewhat spooky sometimes, but doesn't and has never bolted. When she spooks, she snorts and flinches BIG, but doesn't bolt. She has been on large group trails and small group trails. She walks, trots, canters, but is not a show horse. When she's feeling fresh sometimes, she used to crowhop when asked for a canter on the trail but she is getting better with that. She actually acts better when shes alone on a trail, because she doesn't have another horse to worry about. She crosses rivers, steps over logs, backs up, has never seen cows. She is prone to founder and either must be only kept on grass part time or MUST wear a grazing muzzle. She is VERY friendly and curious when you go out in the pasture and there isn't a problem catching her. She is also very friendly with other horses and makes friends with EVERYONE both in and out of the pasture. Her croup is a little too steep and she is somewhat cowhocked. I don't have good confo pics but I will add a few basic pics. Like I said, I know she isn't worth thousands, and that's not what I expect. I'm in no real rush to sell. Due to her pedigree, I feel that she could be a good halter broodmare as well, she has never been bred though. Oh! And shes a solid paint and is about 15.2, almost forgot! Thanks, I appreciate any and every comment.
