Abetta endurance saddle I'm looking at getting a new saddle for my new horse, cause my aussie is too wide and long for him. The abetta any good? He is a mustang with a short back, so would the Arabian abetta work better? Posted via Mobile Device |
. Abetta's are decent Saddle for the Money. We had one that lasted over 17 years. As far as the Model, the Mustang we had took a regular 6.5" Gullet, although every mustang is different. The Abetta Arabian is slightly wider than the 6.5" basic model, but not as wide as the full-Qh 7.0 gullet models. Because of the Codura skirts I would not worry about any Abetta being too long for a Mustang. . |
I love my abetta western saddle. Mine has the arab bars for my arab and it was the only saddle in my budget that was short enough for my crazy short-backed horse. It fits him well, too. I also like how light it is and I'm comfy riding in it. Posted via Mobile Device |
Love the Abetta Endurance, the Western styles not so much. I used them for my short backed Haffies, but I was looking for the widest they had most of the time. |
Golden Horse, why don't you like the western style? Just curious, I promise. Posted via Mobile Device |
I just didn't find it to be the same quality as the Endurance, and it was never as comfortable, so sold it again very quickly. |
