Baby sheep! 3 Attachment(s) I just wanted to share these pictures of these lambs! My trainer at the farm I board my horse at is taking care of these 3 lambs this weekend; they're 3 days old. Last night they could barely walk, and today they were running around after me and following me everywhere :-) She took them in because it's around -10 F here at night, and 5 or 10 F during the day. They weren't doing too well and didn't want to eat or get up. They're eating well now, and getting up and playing every once in a while. They usually only last about 10 minutes before they pass out, though, haha. They're complete dolls, and the smaller one loves to be snuggled. The pictures aren't great quality, I'm hoping to get some more pictures of them tomorrow. |

I am absolutely in love with them! I wish I could take them home, haha. The way they "hop" on their long, gangly leg is the cutest thing I've ever seen, I swear. The smallest one was falling asleep standing up earlier, so I picked her up and held her; she set her head on my shoulder, sighed, and fell asleep. I've just never met animals so sweet and loving before, they melt my heart! |
AWW! Way too cute!! :D |
Cuteness alert! : ) |
What sweeties!! Are ya'll bottlefeeding them? What kind are they? For wool later? From too-warm-for-wool-sheep Georgia! |
Aww i used to love when my family friends had babies . They often bottle fed and the babies were so funny :). I almost succeeded in talking my parents into letting me bring home one of the Pygmy goat babies i had helped raise haha. |
