Meet Chrome :] 4 Attachment(s) So this is chrome. My trainers farriers ex-wife 'rescued' him from a lady getting ready to take him to an auction because her friend no longer wanted him. She told us he was about 6 or 7 however upon having the vet out for an abcess in his ear it was determined he is closer to 4. We are guessing he is a quarter x possible morgan? He is a bit pushy and needs his feet trimmed however someone has done a lot of work with him as far as being messed with. He will be my barrel project and if it turns out he isn't into barrels we will train him up and sell him for something that is. There are 2 other pallys at my trainers the one in the picture is her coming 5 yr old barrel mare shotgun. He is a smaller version to a T of her show gelding ranger though. Oh and as a caution to sensitive stomachs the last picture is his ear after the vet opened and drained the abcess poor guys face from his eye to ear was swollen. |

He but thank you haha |
What a beautiful, sweet boy! That abcess must have been horrible for him to live with!!! He's so fortunate he's with you and being cared for. If you need to "train him up and sell him", I hope it will be to a good loving home :) |
Yeah the lady I got him from had him for a month and never called a vet so we really don't know how long he had it either. He is definitely happier and perkier with it healing up though and the swelling is 90% gone :]. I really hope he works out I already love him but if I do I will definitely be picky. I think Shotgun was more interested in him then he was of any of them haha. |
Congrats! Hes a cutie! |
thank you :) |
they were going to throw HIM away? he's lovely! |
Your horse is beautiful |
