2006 Palomino QH Mare. Help?
Okay, well I asked you guys about my Morgan gelding and you all were a huge help, and I got lots of replies. So I have this other horse, that maybe you guys could critique for me on her conformation? :) She is a 2006, Palomino, Registered Quarter Horse mare called Hancocks Go Maggie. I put her on All Breed Pedigree.com if you guys are interested in her breeding. So one issue that I can tell you guys is, is that when she canters or gallops(riding or if she's free in pasture) her stride is weird. It's like she's pulling you to her left side with each stride, and the way she runs watching her in pasture you can tell she does it there also. Just another issue is that she gets lame VERY easily. It sucks, but oh well. Anyways I hope you all have fun with this, and thanks for the help! And also, the picture of Maggie cantering and the picture of her with the purple smile face is from 2012. The pictures of her and my Grey Arab mare Girly and the one of her grazing are from 2011. And the one where she is sweaty, and was just exercised is from 2010.
Her shoulder angle is not bad
Front legs seem ok, though she's not positioning them well for the photos
Back is just a wee bit on the long side
Again, hard to say about her back legs. Give the impression of being somewhat posty but cannot be 100% certain without her being squared up
