Arabians, Linage and how to market them

So i was wondering if any one could tell me a little more about their linage. I have these 2 Mares i bought on lets call it a impulse buy. I thought some of the grand kids would come out and enjoy them with me but that has not turned out so good. So it is time to send find them new homes. I want to get back to only 1 horse as i am the only one who wants to ride.

First mare is Schmay Schmay Arabian=

Then i have her daughter Shaydosa Bombay Schaydosa Bombay Arabian=

I would really like to move these horses out this summer. But have no idea how to market them, any help would be great.

Thanks

Pedigrees are important when selecting breeding stock, but once they are on the ground, their value and how you market them are based upon how they look and what they can do or what their potential is...

Mainly polish-russian-crabbet bred, and quite advanced in years. What can they do? Are they ridden, have show records, or showing offspring?
Are they suitable for children?
That all plays into marketability nowadays.
I suggest you'll find an Arabian site, there is a greater possibility to find somebody interested in these specific lines. The one I frequent is pretty successful in finding good homes all the time.

Schmay is broke to ride. She was used as a endurance horse in her younger years. I would say she is safe for the intermediate rider. She has a fast walk that can intimidate new riders. And don't let her age fool you she can move and carry a fast pace all day.

Schadosa Bombay Has been started since we bought her. And will make a great kids horse with more training. She has a lot slower walk and is real calm and in the words of the trainer. Great mind can do attitude and a real pleasure to work with. She is a maiden mare never been bred 1 am the second owner of her. She spent her first 16 years as a pasture pet.

Here is a thought: do you have any way to lease them? We are leasing our gelding that no one rides. It is an on site lease as we have an arena and some trails nearby. I don't know your facility, but that might be helpful in getting their care paid for and getting some miles on them to make them more suitable as 'kids horses' since most people buying older horses like them to be appropriate for children, unless they are broodmares, and then the arabian horse sites would be the best place to market them, especially if they have successful progeny or brothers/sisters. A little research into their siblings and offspring will help.

If not, it may help between now and when you plan on moving them to make a good effort to ride them quite often and get them more suitable for youth riders as that is really the market for an older horse.

Superb bloodlines, like was mentioned above, mainly Polish/Russian with some Crabbet in there, excellent performance lines. I hope you can rehome them both to a loving forever home. Perhaps an Arabian breeders forum can help you. But at their age, they really do deserve a home where someone will love them and pamper them.
