Cattle Sorting [video]
 

This is a video of my horse and I sorting cattle for our 2nd time. We are very new to the sport (in fact I am very new to western riding in general) and would love some tips, advice, and critique. Thanks! Sorry that the video is fairly poor quality!

You seem to have done well! Better than I did my first few times :) haha! My first time I flew into that round pen like a bat out of hell! I'm still pretty new to the sport myself, but I can tell you're working on sorting them from a distance and not rushing /scattering them which is what a lot of beginners do. I personally am working on slowing myself down and thinking ahead about what my next move is going to be. It seems to me that you just need to keep practicing a slowly building up your speed over time.
