Grooming for Video
I excercise two horses for this lady and she asked me if I could clean up her yearling Fresian colt for a video. He's a little fuzzy and it's too cold here to give him a bath, but I was wondering what else should I do with him?

You can take a cloth and put some alcohol on it and give a good rub if he has a dusty under coat. The wet cloth will pick up the dust but the alcohol with dry very fast. You could also spray a shine spray on his coat where the saddle isn't going to sit and on his mane and tail. You could also braid the mane and tail.

I would say, since he most likely has a long mane and tail, to braid it for the few days before then let it loose and leave it a bit wavy-people seem to like that in friesians. Also make sure the feathering and whatnot is all combed/brushed out. I would curry hard for a few days and use the above cloth trick! Good luck!

Definitely braid his mane and tail. To make it waiver when you take it out ( if you don't have a lot of time) I put some type of people hair mouse or styling gel around the braid and all over it (best stuff is girls styling mouse by Aussie). Then when your ready to take the video brush it out then go!!
