I'm considering trying out a bitless bridle on my boy. He's definitely strong, but gets ticked off if I'm always pulling on his mouth. Sometimes when jumping, he'll take a long distance and ill accidentally yank him in the mouth and feel guilty for this. In addition, I'm thinking a bitless bridle would make rides more enjoyable for him.
I'm not sure i want a hackamore, as I've heard they can be harsh on a horse if not used correctly. So does anyone have experience with just basic bitless bridles? Do you know of they're alowed in dressage and can they be succesfully used on a stronger horse?
