eventing two point
Ok fire away tell me everything im doing right and wrong. It won't hurt my feelings when you tell me all the things i do wrong because i know theres alot to fix and there would be no point in this if i only wanted the positives.
I think you need to back your foot out of your irons a bit. Your heel is unable to flex down because the stirrups is all the way to the heel of your boot. You do have your bum a bit too far out of the saddle for my taste. Around my barn we call that "porno butt". I know... just a wee bit inappropriate. haha!
However; I will say that you have a very solid leg giving you a great base of support. I don't mind your release, but i think a rider of your ability might begin to toy with the idea of a automatic release.
I agree that your release looks good and that your foot needs backed out of the stirrup. Also, I agree that your seat is a little too far out of the saddle (best shown in the first picture). I disagree, however, regarding your leg; it does seem to have slipped back a little. Just work on fixing your lower leg while keeping your seat a little closer in contact to your saddle and keep it balanced over your saddle.
It also seems like you are looking where you are going, which is good.
I agree with Oxer about your butt, try to tuck it under and raise your shoulders a bit. I like the second picture better than the first, you look more open, solid, and defensive.
Your leg seems to be falling back though, which may be why you're so forward and out of the saddle. Kick it forward, as if you were going to kick a soccer ball. This should help you stay over the saddle a bit more and give you a more solid 2 point.
