Conformation Critique - 3.5 yo TB/Perch Cross (PMU)

Hello all. I've been a lurker for years. Had posted my mare prior and got a great critique from all you knowledgeable folks.

I just got a new guy and I'm excited and want to see what you think.

About him:
3/4 TB 1/4 Perch - PMU foal from ND
Will be 4 in June
Has been lightly started and only over a fence 3 times (1 jump each time)
He has a nice walk and a lovely trot, still working on canter
Quiet, quiet, quiet. Thus why his prior owner sold. She is an avid shower/eventer and he was just too quiet for her.

I'm a beginner eventer and hope to show later this year. I do not have any high aspirations. Just some cross country, a little dressage and trails on occasion.

He will be going to my trainer in the spring. For now, he's enjoying hanging out in the pasture with my mare.

So here he is. Only pic I have at the moment. The weather really stinks here and this was a gorgeous 60 degree, fluke, day.

Gibson (not the best as he is leaning forward):

And the only foal pic I have at the moment:

He is very handsome! Shoulder might be a tad upright, but he is just so darn cute!

I like him. Good bone, sufficient coupling, big hip, and decent looking legs as far as I can see (hard to tell in the shadows though.) Good length of back and neck too. His shoulder is a bit on the straight side but thats pretty typical of his type. I've never seen a TB x Perch cross that I liked but I just might have changed my mind with this guy! Looks like he'll make quite the sturdy all arounder if you train him right and take your time. He's a cutie!

Edit:

He's really over at the knees as a foal in that picture but I really am not seeing that in the recent picture... good thing because over at the knees is a bad fault ;)

Thanks guys. He is a total sweetheart. I am smitten.

As soon as the weather breaks and I can leave him naked for a bit again, I'll try and get better photos.
