Look at this stud for sale!
I vary much dislike back yard breeders thats one reason why we have so many unwanted horses in this world. Look at this add I found on Craigslist titled "Amazing Paint Stud".
Heres the pics that where on there
And heres what they said....
"Here is an amazing 4 year old paint stud he is registered with the american paint horse association he has one foal on ground with others on the way
he is rideable super calm around mares my 10 yr old kid rides him by himself. no bad habbits for more info please call or txt**********."
And heres what I have to say. THIS HORSE IS NOT STUD WORTHY or not worth breeding to. I do not like any part of his conformation his color is beautiful but thats it. I am so sick of these back yard breeders that most of the time breed just for color.
I definatly don't like the first pic...
what is it you don't like in the second picture ?
I dont like either I don't like his conformation and to me hes not stud quality.
Honestly, he isn't THAT bad. There are quite a few things that I really like about him.
He has a nice back, maybe a little long, but he has a great hindend! I like his shoulder and his front leg is nice and straight with decent bone.
His neck is short and thick through the throat latch, but he has a pretty face and lovely coloring.
In the first picture, I don't like his hooves, but that could very well be due to poor farrier work. His hooves are on the smaller size. And the first picture makes him appear very downhill, which the 2nd picture makes him look more level.
Overall, I think he is a pretty decent horse and could make a great workhorse under someone that knows what they are doing. As far as being a stallion and breeding quality, there are very few stallions and mares IMO that should ever be bred. However, people could do a lot worse then this particular stallion. I've seen it first hand.
I did like his shoulders and neck I just dont like his back and his hind end i like a bigger hip and not but high.
I was expecting something alot worse with your rant:lol: He's not something that i'd look to breed to,but he's a whole lot better than many studs I see standing stud out there:D.
ya your right i would take this forum down if i could. just had a bad experience with a back yard breeder and get over crazy when i see a stud for breeding and he doesn't have awesome conformation or points.
I agree with the OP. Nice shoulder. That's it. I don't like his neck, I don't like his pastern angles, his long back, his front legs look awful, his bottom line is ridicilous, and I've got Arabians with bigger bone.
And his balls... I REALLY don't like his balls.
But thats okay! He's got colour.
lol thats where I was coming from
Bottom line there is WAY too many studs out there that shouldn't be,yes agree this horse is one of them:-) problem being there is one's out there worse than him:shock: The people that breed to them are just as blind & use mares that also aren't of breeding quality....... then guess what blesses more backyards more cutsie baby horsies:-P:-(
