Are polo wraps enough for now?
I've been browsing the web and the Forum for hours and feel like I've gone in boot circles! I am working on low level dressage with my mare and hope to eventually do eventing. I just can't decide what kind of boots to get her! I want her legs protected from knocks and bumps while lunging and doing flatwork, and when we do start jumping, I want her legs to have support as well. I can't afford a lot ATM, but could save up for a pair or two. Unless I get cheap ones, which I will as long as I can be sure they offer her support.

Are polo wraps suitable for her just for now? We will not be jumping for awhile and when we do start it will be very low. I definitely want something on her for lunging, but should I just leave everything off for riding?

Polo wraps sound fine for now! I don't like them for jumping, I don't feel like they give very much support, but for just protecting her from knocking herself it sounds good. I say wait it out and find a good pair used, that's what I did and the perfect pair fell into my lap for super cheap.

Be careful the polos are wrapped correctly! or can do damage

polos do not really provide much of anything. but theres no reason you can use them. as far as cheaper boots that are good for jumping, woof boots are awesome. they run about $35 a pair.

Thanks! Which kind of Woof boots would be best for jumping, as well?
