Out of shape confusion
 

My own mare gets ridden at least four times a week and she still sweats like a pig after her workout. Now with my neighbors horse, I do the same workout and she isn't even breathing hard. ( and she hasn't been ridden in two years:shock:) I see something wrong with this picture. Is my horse out of shape? Any answers appreciated:wink::wink:

I agree with Joe - just like some people sweat more than others, so do horses.

It could also be that your horse has a thicker coat, all sorts of things. Not uncommon so I wouldn't worry about it.
