do Blue eyes make seeing difficult My horse has on blue eye and one brown eye. but leans towards the blue eyed side when riding. why is this Posted via Mobile Device |
It's probably chiropractic issues. It'll have nothing to do with his eye. Posted via Mobile Device |
He might just be compensating. Every horse is different too. my horse has blue eyes, but doesn't seem to be having difficulties. It might have to do with his eye, it might not. I used to know people who's horses always had their heads kind of turned too. So it could be their eyes, or it couldn't. I would probably ask a vet. |

My horse has one blue eye and one brown... she is fine, it has nothing to do with eye colour. |
Our 2-blue eyed mare has never seen to have any trouble. |
Blue eye being more prone to vision problems is an old wives tale. Any questions regarding a horse's vision in general should be brought up with a vet ASAP as some thing with eyes are best when caught and treated ASAP. |
My mare has one blue and one brown and never seems to have a problem. Everyone who says her asks if she is blind in that eye though... |
