Southeast NM vs Panhandle FL?

So, if everything goes right, this time next year I'll be heading to my next base in my new job. *If* I can snag my dream aircraft it'll pretty much be between Clovis, NM and Fort Walton, FL. Anybody have some pro's and cons for the two areas?

The only thing I can think of they have in common is sand. Everything else...everything...is different...:rofl:

Lol, that's what I'm looking at :P What area has good schools and good riding for both me and the pipsqueak. What's the price of hay/boarding/renting, that sort of stuff :P
