Random pictures in the snow.... Well, we had about 8-10 inches of snow the other day and I snapped a few pictures of random stuff around the barn. We're expecting some really bad weather right now, it's sleeting currently and they're calling for 10-15 inches of snow with a 50 mph wind....so drifts several feet deep. So there will probably be more snow pix in the next couple of days. First up is Talyn, my yearling filly. http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/i...n/DSCN0581.jpg http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/i...n/DSCN0580.jpg http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/i...n/DSCN0579.jpg Then, I was out in the big pasture and I was absolutely certain that Rafe had taken a growth spurt because he seemed so much huger than he used to be. I sticked him and, thankfully, I was wrong and he's still holding at 16.1. He was hanging around with Taz, who is definitely bigger than he was. He didn't come up until I'd already put the stick back in the barn though. http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/i...e/DSCN0593.jpg http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/i...e/DSCN0599.jpg http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/i...e/DSCN0613.jpg http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/i...e/DSCN0612.jpg http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/i...z/DSCN0606.jpg http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/i...z/DSCN0604.jpg http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/i...z/DSCN0605.jpg Then, I took a ride on Dobe. http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/i...x/DSCN0631.jpg http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/i...x/DSCN0636.jpg http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/i...x/DSCN0630.jpg |
Raaaaaaaafe!!!! He and Aires are just about the same height now. Except Aires has kinda gone narrow on me. Lol Posted via Mobile Device |
LOL, it sucks because Rafe just keeps getting bulkier. Before long, my saddle will probably be too small :?. |
My gawd...you rode that wild pony in a halter? ;) Cool pics! You have a lot more snow than I do...it snowed yesterday morning but with the wind I think it ended up in Utah! |
Yep, I don't know how I survived. Had to snap the pix between instances of him running off and trying to buck with me . I really won't complain about the snow. Today is the first time I've seen green grass and standing water in over 2 years. |
