breathing strangely help!!
i have had my horse since octoberish time, he is just turning three so i have decided to start lightly working him and getting him used to different things. i have taken him riding a couple of times and have found that he is breathing strangely on the way home which is normally up a hill but he has done it on the flat it doesnt seem affect his riding but i have only walked him, not done any trotting, catering as of yet. the breathing is as if he is taking a long wheezy inhaling breath he has done this a couple of times then coughed im not sure if its the hay he is eating and if its a little dusty as there is no grass in fields atm can anyone help? please

Wet down his hay AFTER YOU CHECKED IT FOR MOLD....DON'T FEED MOLDY HAY. Wet it really well, in a tub or a wheelbarrow, discard the water and feed it. He should be doing better soon. If not, time for a vet call. You don't want to just let that go and ruin a young horse, right?
