Not Great Pics, but Maybe you can tell what breed?

Hello, I know these pictures aren't great, it was dark out and using my flash just made them worse. Anyway maybe someone can see enough to tell me, what is she? The owner said a welsh, but I am not so sure. I will go back in a few days and get some in the day light, but I am very curious as to what she is. Thanks :-)

Could possibly be a welsh
Maybe a cross with another breed of pony
I knew a mare that was 3/4 QH and 1/4 Belgian that looked identical in color & build, although she was taller.

The pictures make it really hard to tell but it almost looks donkeyesque to me.

How tall and old?

I was kind of wondering the same, seems to look like a donkey in the face, and that big ole rear lol

She is approx. 5 years old, maybe 12-13 hands. She was very skittish, wouldn't let me get near enough to her to measure her.

Here are some better photos of her in daylight:

Any guesses? Thanks in advance :-) Btw, she was MUCH friendlier in the daylight, let me love all over her!

Welsh/shetland? I'm not up on Welsh terms, but every one I've seen in person has been quite a bit bigger, as well as much more horse-like in proportions.

To that note, something strikes me as odd with this one... At 5 years, she's locked in on her proportions, so no more pieces catching up with each other. Could be the winter coat, but she's either some kind of smaller pony or carrying some dwarf traits. I'd sail miles away from anything with dwarfism, based solely on potential health issues.

Is there any way to tell? Does anyone else see this, or am I totally out to lunch?

She is very overweight. Slimming down could drastically change her appearance.

how tall is she? did I miss that?

Looks either part donkey or part shetland.
