Yearling Blanket Questions
So, I'm not sure if this completely fits in this category, but I think it does. My yearly QH filly has warn a blanket since I got her, and they fit her well. They aren't too snug and they aren't huge. My problem is that she seems to have a rash or the blanket is rubbing her hair off of her chest and around there. I'm wondering if I should keep the blanket on and leave it, take it off completely, or put on a blanket that I have that will be a big big and loose on her to try and fix it. Normally it wouldn't bee a problem but I want her to have hair on her chest because I am going to be taking her to shows in the next few months. Anyone have any thoughts/suggestions? If it would help I can take pictures of where the hair has gone and post them on here tomorrow!

If there are no funguses or skin conditions just the blanket rubbing, get her a shoulder guard.
The hair will grow back and it'll prevent future rubbing.

My main question is about the 'rash' and yes pictures would definitely help. Is it a rash or is the hair just rubbing away? And is there any hair at all or is it just really really short. When my mare shed out, her hair was so short in the chest area she looked bald, but it's growing in now and she doesn't wear a blanket.

If the blanket is rubbing hair off its not fitting right. My mare wears a blanket it never rubs any hair off.
