What kind of blanket do I need??
 

Hi! I'm looking for a blanket that's good for a light trailering blanket but can be used at horse shows to keep the dust and hay off. I've found one on Dover that I really like but I think it's a cooler if I remember right. Is that ok? :?I don't want to buy one over $50 but I want it to last. Any suggestions?? Thanks guys!:-)

you could get a used cooler

"I don't want to buy one over $50 but I want it to last" don't go together in the same sentence. You need to get one with a high neck otherwise they rub the withers. Anything less than 1200 denier rips too easily, think thin nylon jacket. I've repaired many of varying qualities. Altho it doesn't have the higher neckline you might want to consider the cotton one that is a weave, like denim in the heavy weight jeans. At least you can repair them with iron-on patches.
